What's the deadline for registration?
Deadline for early bird registration was on Sunday, February 25th, 2024. Prices have now increased and participants will have until Sunday March 31st, 2024 to register.
How do I register/pay?
Registration is completed by clicking on the “Registration” tab on our website. By doing so it will direct you to a Google Form which you will need to complete. Registration is not complete until you pay the registration fee via e-transfer to mycpayments@maronites.ca Following the completion of the registration form and payment, you will be considered registered to MYC 2024.
What's the price?
Early bird registration was $185 (until Sunday, February 25th, 2024). Prices are now $215 until registration closes on March 31st, 2024.
Who can register to MYC?
Although the MYC will focus on Maronite faith and tradition, any Christian young adult between the ages of 18 and 35 (as of May 17, 2024) is welcome to register.
Can I attend an MYC 2024 event if I’m not registered?
No. To ensure participants’ safety, entry to all MYC events will require you to have your MYC participant badge on you. If you are not wearing the badge, entry to any event/activity will not be permitted.
How do I book the hotel?
Hotel bookings are completed by clicking on the “Hotel Reservation” tab on our website. By doing so, it will lead you to a custom portal created for MYC 2024 by the hotel. From there you will be able to choose and pay for the room you desire.
The nightly rate, including breakfast, is $169 (subject to taxes and fees). The available room types are Double Rooms (two Queen beds – up to four people), Single Rooms (one Queen bed and one sofa bed – up to four people), and King Rooms (one King bed – up to two people). Please note that availability of room types is limited, and reservations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I get to Ottawa?
You are responsible for your own transportation and may choose the method of your choice. Ottawa is easily accessible by car, train (VIA rail), bus, and plane.
If I’m arriving to Ottawa by plane/train/bus, will there be transportation available to bring me to the hotel to check-in?
Should you require transportation from your arrival point to the hotel, please ensure you indicate it on the registration form. There is a mandatory question regarding this in the form.
